Motion - This House Would Steal From The Rich And Give To The Poor

I agree with the motion, but I say steal here is not in the form of robbery or take the money roughly.  Steal here is taking money of those who have enough to help the poor and the survival of the state.  Government should require the tax to those who treasure the advantages to help prosper the poor. Taxes are a source of major revenue for Indonesia. Receipt of tax contributed by countries is estimated at 914 Trillion Rupiah or around 70 percent of the total revenue of the country. The tax is used to finance development needs and the rest is a savings to society and the State in order to materialize the prosperity evenly.

In addition to the tax, for the Muslims they can help the poor by paying zakat. Government can do is maximize the management of zakat. It also requires an awareness of those who are able and have the obligation to pay zakat. If the people who are able and have the obligation release zakat made zakat is a routine activity rather than just 1 year once, likely the poor in Indonesia will be much more reduced.

The Government will not be able to realize numerous programs perfectly when you don't have the support of the people. Therefore, the gap between the rich and the poor, between the Government and its people, it should be buried. This will be realized by a dynamic life.
